1. Capilano suspension bridge - you must go there - its great - its a long suspenssion bridge hanging over the capilano canyon....

2. Grouse MT - near capilano - takes u up the mountain and up there u can walk around, and there are also all kind of shows - the one i saw was really nice....so i guesse the rest r as well

3. Chinatown is always a fun place to walk, shop and eat.

4. stanley park - just a wonderfull place to spend the morning - must visit the aquarium there. U can also see there the Lions gate bridge - nice view to the bridge u can see when u take the shuttle at stanley park but when u get to the station after the view u have t walk back few meters (the view from the view point there isnt as nice)

5. ubc museum of anthropology - very interesting, lots of totem poles of all kind and other stuff the main room is just great - all kind of stuff and smaller items are located in the rooms inside and they r mostly masks of all kind go outside as well there is a yard with other totem poles there is a student's discount

6. Gastown - its just a small part of the street that is really nice to walk alot of stores and restaurants there and just a nice walk the steam clock is there and its going on every 15 minutes

7. The English bay - the english bay is really nice the beach is nice and all kind of rentals stuff and u can just walk there and enjoy it

8. Granville island - we spent a really nice adternoon at granville island with vt member rmdw who took us around places in vancouver :-) there is a big market there where u can buy all kind of stuff (or 2 lb of berries if u r me)

9. Vancouver public library - we really liked this building (but we dont even have 1 pic of it......:-( just in the middle of the street , with all kind of tall modern buildings u see this building that looks like nothing around it

10. Lynn canyon - this pork is a small one but really nice there is a suspension bridge (smaller than capilanno but its free) and after crossigng the bridge u can walk around the park and see some nice ponds and small waterfalls

1. Butchard gardens - just beautifull gardens - try to get there at the afternoon and stay till evening (9 or so) couse they have a great fireworks show there...

2. Royal british columbia museum - and other than really nice stuff inside there is an imax theatre there and if u buy the combined tickets its cheaper
